Laser Diode Current And Temperature Controller – Laser is the heart of quantum optics and the riding horse of atom optics. And its wavelength depends on the laser diode (LD) injection current and temperature. Hence LD current driver and temperature controller plays an important role in maintaining a stable laser frequency. We are developing a prototype of an integrated LD current driver and thermo-electric cooler (TEC) temperature controller, as shown in the photo on the right.
