    Single Photons Coincidence Detector​

    We generate pairs of single photons (quantum light) using a BBO nonlinear crystal. However it contains both classical light (bunch of many photons) and quantum light, and we separate them via coincidence/simultaneous detection of single photon pairs and second-order g2-correlation between them. For this purpose we are building an FPGA based coincidence detector as shown in the schematic diagram below.​
